Three men are behind bars after Phoenix Police say they were selling drugs under the guise of being a medical marijuana dispensary.

Two suspects sat on a couch inside a Phoenix business on 32nd Street while Phoenix Police investigated.

The search warrant was served Friday night after police say they had probable cause that the individuals running the business were illegally selling marijuana under the guise of being a legitimate medical marijuana dispensary.

The open sign was still lit, but the doors to the business were locked Saturday morning after police raided the business.

Owners of other businesses in the area say they always saw some sort of suspicious activity, a lot of people coming and going and people sitting in the parking lot with their cars on.

Police say the men did not have a valid business license.

Inside, police seized marijuana and brownies, muffins and candies containing marijuana.

They also took weapons.

Kenneth Winans, Hernan Vega and Jeremy Skidmor were all booked into jail for a number of charges, including illegally controlling an enterprise and possession of marijuana for sale.

Two of those men are also facing charges of possession of a firearm during a drug offense.
