CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Naperville Professional Firefighters from Truck 9 and Engine 4 saved four ducklings from a storm sewer on Wednesday.

The firefighters were alerted to the ducklings' plight by a resident who was shopping at a local grocery store and saw the baby ducks fall into the parking lot sewer.

They found the very anxious mother duck nearby, and were eventually able to pull her babies out of the sewer and return them to her.

Firefighters took the reunited family to a pond near Ogden and Raymond, on Naperville's northwest side.
