Free sports physicals offered at Pontiac health fair

PONTIAC, Mich. (WJBK) -

Oakland County youth ages 18 and under can receive free sports physicals for the next school year.

The McLaren Oakland Foundation, alongside McLaren Oakland ER physicians, will host the 8th Annual Children's Sports Health Fair Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The event will be held at McLaren Oakland Children's Health Services, 673 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Pontiac. Aside from receiving free physicals, students will also learn important nutritional information to improve their physical endurance and sports performance while taking part in athletic activities.
