Student Loan Rates Reach Staggering Amounts

Federal student loan rates have jumped to 6.8%.

That's not all future college kids and their parents have to deal with though.

Tuition has also increased at many institutions.

The cost of an education at local schools like Temple, Rutgers, and Penn State and University of Delaware is up nearly 3%!

How can kids go to college without breaking the bank?

Financial expert Dan Roccato joined FOX29's Mike Jerrick and Dawn Timmeney live on "Good Day Philadelphia" Wednesday with some tips.
