A favorite photo is one of the ways Sara Lee Greenhalgh remembers her daughter.

"I love her face. I love that her hair is not exactly perfect. I look at it all the time," says Greenhalgh.

Tuesday is the one-year anniversary of the day her daughter, Sarah Greenhalgh, was found dead. She was shot in the neck and her home in Upperville, Va., was set on fire.

A spokesman for the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office told FOX 5 on Tuesday they are working methodically to build a case that can be "put before a jury."

Sarah's mother has no doubts.

"In criminal cases, you cannot discuss the facts of the case,” she says. “I know very little, but they know a lot. They can't discuss it. To the public, it looks like nothing is happening, but a lot is happening and I really believe in them."
