Police: Woman sexually assaulted after accepting ride from strangers

WASHINGTON -

D.C. police are searching for two suspects in connection to a sexual assault that took place Northeast D.C. in the early hours of Saturday.

Police said a woman walking in the area around 2:50 a.m. accepted a ride from two unknown males in the 4600 block area of Grant Street. Once inside the car, one of the men pulled out a handgun then both sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect who produced the handgun is described as a black male with light complexion and long dreadlocks. Police said he is between 6’1” to 6’2” and weighs 160 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie with green writing and blue jeans.

The second suspect is also a black male. Police described him as having a medium complexion, short dreadlocks and greenish eyes. He was wearing khaki-type pants and a dark blue or black shirt.

The suspects were driving a white, four-door Chevrolet Caprice (Old Caprice style) with unknown tags.
