Cimorelli: A Modern Day Partridge Family

Pop sister group, Cimorelli. The girls (ages 13-22) lauched their single, "Made In America" on June 18th. The sisters hail from Malibu. Their mom manages them, dad and brothers are all part of their team...they are sort of present day Partridge Family. It's really special! They were discovered on Youtube and have a massive following of over 500 Million views with over 1.6 million subscribers. Their video was launched over the Memorial Day Weekend and it's already over 450,000 views on YouTube.

Fun facts about Cimorelli:

  • They are a singing group popularized on YouTube and signed to Universal Music's Island label.
  • Cimorelli is made up of six sisters, Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani.
  • Their singing style is mostly using a capella with occasional instruments. They started posting covers of songs on YouTube, before releasing original songs.
  • In May 2012, Cimorelli won "The Bieber-Off", a contest by Ryan Seacrest where they covered Justin Bieber's hit "Boyfriend".
  • In July, they were nominated for "Choice Web Star" at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.
