Man arrested in Tysons Corner smash-and-grab jewelry store robbery

FAIRFAX, Va. -

A 22-year-old man has been charged for the smash-and-grab robbery of a Kay Jewelers store in Tysons Corner Center.

Police say five men entered the store, smashed several display cases and took an undisclosed amount of jewelry at around 4:11 p.m. Tuesday. The suspects then fled on foot.

Brandon Bowditch, of Hamtramck, Mich., was found and taken into custody by responding officers after the robbery.

The other suspects were described as black males, one wearing a bright red hoodie, another wearing a black and white striped hoodie, and the others wearing black hoodies.
