COBB COUNTY, Ga. -

Nineteen-year-old Jekari Strozier, 18-year-old Antonio Pass and 18-year-old Kemonta Bonds – all of Mableton, Ga., and believed to be gang members – went before a judge, via closed circuit TV. Each are charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act.

They are currently being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. All three expected to remain in custody until their next scheduled court appearance on July 30.

Cobb County authorities say Strozier, Pass, Bonds and 18-year-old Johnathan Anthony – also of Mableton, Ga. – took part in beating 36-year-old Joshua Heath Chellew on Mableton Parkway about 1 a.m. Sunday.  Police say Chellew ended up in the middle of the street, where a car struck him.

Chellew was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Anthony made his first court appearance late Tuesday. He's being held without bond and faces the same charges as the other three suspects.
