Police release video of person of interest in connection to Northwest DC robbery

D.C. police have released surveillance video of a person of interest in connection with a robbery last Thursday in Northwest D.C.

The robbery occurred at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Gresham Street, NW, at approximately 11:12 p.m.

The surveillance video is from a nearby establishment before the robbery.

The person of interest is described as a black male, 19 to 22 years of age, 6’2”, with a slim build, dark complexion and short cropped hair. He was last seen wearing black boots, camouflage green shorts, a black North Face top and a backpack.

Anyone with information that can assist in the identification of this subject is asked to call the police at (202) 727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery,
