SEPTA Fare Increases, July 1st

PHILADELPHIA -

The first fare increase in three years will take effect on July 1st for all SEPTA transportation vehicles.

This comes after recommendations from the Pennsylvania Transportation Funding and Reform Commission.

Among the changes, is the one dollar increase on one day passes, extra zone charge elimination on many transit routes, and the removal of gender stickers for transit and Regional Rail passes.

Ride limits will also be established for weekly and monthly TransPasses and TrailPasses
