Brooke White Sings For A Banner 4th Of July

It's been five years since Brooke White made it to the Top Five on American Idol.  Since then, she's released lots of new music, and she became a mom.  She her husband David Ray are proud parents of a daughter, London, who was born a year ago May. 

And as if all of that isn't enough to keep her busy, Brooke is now an actress, too.  She stars in the new Hallmark movie, "Banner 4th of July," for which she's also written and recorded.

Brooke joins Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Fun facts about Brooke White:

  • Brooke is an American indie pop/folk-pop singer-songwriter and actress from Mesa, Arizona who was the fifth place finalist on the seventh season of American Idol.
  • White released her first studio album, called Songs from the Attic. White's first post-Idol album High Hopes & Heartbreak was released on July 21, 2009.
  • The first single "Hold Up My Heart" was released on February 25, 2009, and the song debuted at number 47 on the Billboard Hot 100.
  • White starred in a Fox TV movie titled "Change of Plans", which aired on January 8, 2011.
