Unmanned drone found by TV station employee after crash; video contained images of sunbathing woman

A downed drone was discovered by a television station employee after it crashed to the ground in an Orlando suburb.

The homemade unmanned craft had recorded two hours of footage including a sunbathing woman and cars driving on the interstate before it fell from the sky.

The owner of the drone, medical student Guimy Alexis, told the television station Local 6 after they tracked him down, that his intent was to record a flight and post the video online to YouTube.

'There's nothing nefarious going on,' he said as reported by the DailyMailOnline.

According to the DailyMailOnline, Alexis lost sight of his machine, which put him in violation of Federal Aviation Administration rules for flying radio-controlled flying devices.

The report states a Florida law restricting the use of unmanned aircraft by police agencies was signed in April.
