Residual CTA delays after North Side power problems

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A power problem at a North Side CTA station disrupted train service on three lines during the Tuesday evening rush.

Red, Purple and Yellow Line trains were stopped at the Howard station because of "a loss of electrical power," the CTA said about 5:15 p.m.

As of 6:30 p.m., service has been restored on all three lines, but riders may experience residual delays, the CTA said.
