There's a new craze where you add something to your morning cup of coffee that's supposed to shrink waistlines and promote brain function.

It's butter!

People are adding up to ⅔ of a stick of butter to boost energy and promote weight loss.

The creator of this concoction calls it "bulletproof" coffee, but some health experts say not so fast.  They say the blend, which contains between 100 and 200 calories per cup, can actually promote weight gain and that any extra energy experienced by drinkers is merely a placebo effect.
