Breathing new life into local landmark, Fire Station 19

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

About 88 years ago this month, an Atlanta landmark began serving its community. Fire Station Number 19 opened in Virginia-Highland on June 1, 1925. But, time has taken its toll on the building over the decades.

Now, the push is on to restore the deeply regarded and proud firehouse to its former glory.

You can be a part of this effort to breathe new life into Fire Station 19, located at 1063 North Highland Avenue in metro Atlanta. Donations to help fund the restoration efforts can be made at the link featured below.
