Sivan's Semi Hard News Report: Friday

Posted: Updated:

Kim and Kanye have decided to take our jokes seriously and name their daughter North West. But it may be Vogue editor Anna Wintour's fault they went in that direction (har har!)

Reports claim Wintour hosted the couple at her home back in May and mentioned she liked the name North for a girl. Perhaps Kim & Kanye didn't hear her LOL after she said it. Baby North will be called "Nori" for short because it's Japanese for seaweed and North is too cumbersome a name to keep pronouncing.

Fans of Taylor Swift are called "Swifties" and if you wrong them or their namesake, prepare to pay the price! Abercrombie & Fitch found out the hard way not to make fun of Taylor and try to profit off it. They were selling a T-Shirt that read "More Boyfriends Than TS" a nod to Taylor's long list of love interests. Swifties bombarded the company with petitions, protests and general outrage until the retailer announced they no longer sell the shirt. Score one, Swifties.

Amanda Bynes told RadarOnline she has gotten her breast implants removed even though they made quite a splash on Twitter when she posted pictures of herself in a bra. She says they were uncomfortable and she prefers not to have them. So far, no Twitter pics of post-surgery sink shots.  But she plans to get a nose job and put out a rap album so the fun is just getting started.

Most of us think of the violin as a classical instrument. But Lili Haydn uses it to rock. Funk legend George Clinton has called her the Jimi Hendrix of violinists. Lili is about to release her latest studio album, “Lililand.” Haydn told Christine Devine and Jeff Michael about her passion for the instrument, how she started playing the violin and what she does to create the rock and roll sound.
