At approximately 6:50 p.m. on June 18, 53-year-old Donald Gee of Philadelphia, Pa., was arrested for public intoxication and simple assault at Dulles International Airport.
Gee was angered by his inability to board his flight and began arguing with a United Airlines pilot who said Gee was too intoxicated to board the plane.
The argument began to come to a close, when Gee began shouting expletives to the pilot from across the terminal. The pilot responded to Gee's offer to step outside for a fight.
"We don't have to step outside, I'm right here," the pilot said.
To which Gee walked up to the pilot, slapped him and continued to hit the pilot until he was brought down by other airport employees.
