Jackknifed semi blocked lanes on Bishop-Ford Tuesday

Lanes have reopened on the Bishop Ford Expressway Tuesday morning after a semi-truck jackknifed near Sibley Boulevard.

The accident, which occurred about 5:15 a.m., blocked one southbound and two northbound lanes, according to Illinois State Police.

No injuries were reported, and no vehicles other than the semi were involved in the crash, state police said.

All southbound lanes were moving normally as of about 7:20 a.m., according to state police.

The northbound lanes were reopened about 8:15 a.m., state police said.
