NFL Limits What Fans Can Bring To Football Stadiums

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

We may be a few months away from the Eagles' season kickoff, but the NFL has already implemented new rules to try to keep stadiums safe for fans.

And not everyone will enjoy these new rules.

Starting with the practice games next month, you will not be allowed to bring any purses or bags, larger than a small clutch.

That's about the size of your hand.

Clear bags are allowed, as long as they're under a foot long.

You can also bring in one-gallon plastic freezer bags.

NFL officials say they will make exceptions for "medically necessary items, after proper inspection."
