Posted: Updated:

ACCUWEATHER - A rainy forecast is set for Monday.

Strong thunderstorms and humid temperatures are in store for the region.

Highs in the upper 70s are expected during the day.

Thunderstorms are expected Monday night with temperatures in the 60s.

Flash flooding hit Culpeper, Virginia late Sunday night.

High water caused 40 to 50 people to evacuate the Sleepy Hollow Motel.

Some guests said the water was chest deep in their rooms.

Members from the Red Cross helped them relocate.

The flooding closed Culpeper County Schools on what would have been the last day of school.
