Anna Chlumsky: I Wanted To Be A Lot Of Things

Anna Chlumsky - it's pronounced Klum-skee - has been a working actress since she was eight years old, and she co-starred with Macaulay Culkin in her first two movies, both of which were hits: "Uncle Buck" in 1989 and "My Girl" in 1991.

Anna took time off to go to college, but now she's back as a working adult actress. She co-stars with Julia Louis-Dreyfus on HBO's "Veep" and today she joins Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone on Good Day L.A.

Fun facts about Anna:

  • First known for playing Vada Sultenfuss in the 1991 movie My Girl.
  • Chlumsky entered show business at an early age, modeling with her mother in an advertising campaign.
  • She attended the University of Chicago, graduating in 2002 with a BA in International Studies.
  • After graduation she worked as a fact-checker for the Zagat Survey and served as an editorial assistant for a HarperCollins science fiction-fantasy imprint.
