Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

Hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists rolled into D.C. for the Rolling Thunder Memorial Day weekend rally.

In a massive show of patriotism, they gathered at the Pentagon, then made their symbolic ride to the National Mall.

It was followed by a ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial.

The group is made up of men and women, young and old, veterans and non-veterans from across the country.

According to the Rolling Thunder website, their mission is: "...to bring full accountability for the Prisoners Of War-Missing In Action (POW/MIA) of all wars, reminding the government, the media and the public by our watchwords: 'We Will Not Forget.' "
