ATLANTA -

Atlanta police investigated a bomb threat outside of an AT&T store on Cobb Parkway on Wednesday.

Authorities closed down Cobb Parkway between Riverwood Parkway and Akers Mill Road as they looked into the situation.

SKYFOX 5 was over the scene, which was at a strip mall near the Cumberland Mall.

Police said that a disgruntled customer made threats about a bomb. He was taken into custody, but allegedly left an item in or near the store. The Cobb County Bomb Squad was notified and used their robots to render the item safe.

The businesses that had been evacuated were reopened.
