Chuck Leavell: I Do Have Another Life Outside The Stones

Posted: Updated:

Monday night Chuck Leavell was on stage performing in one of the world's most legendary bands. Tuesday morning he was on set with Steve and Maria. Chuck plays keyboards for The Rolling Stones and performed at Staples Center for the band's "50 and Counting" tour. Chuck talked about life on the road with Mick and the boys and what it's like taking the stage with them. Besides music, Chuck shares his other passion: the environment.

He discussed a project close to his heart, the Mother Nature Network. It's a website designed for a mainstream audience and goes beyond traditional "green" issues to encompass a wide range of responsible-living topics. With the band, the website, and everything else, Steve summed it all up to Chuck: "You're a disgustingly productive guy!"

Chuck's latest CD, ‘Back To The Woods', is out now. Also check out Chuck's environmental website, Mother Nature Network by clicking HERE.
