Surveillance Video Released Of Suspect Wanted In Deadly Stabbing

Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video hoping that someone will recognize the suspect wanted in a fatal stabbing.

At 5:09 AM, on April 16, police were called out to the 400 block of Vollmer Street for reports of a person with a weapon.

When police arrived on scene, they found a 68-year old man who was stabbed multiple times in the front area of his residence at The Whitman. He died as a result of his injuries.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video walking on the 2700 block of South Randolph Street.

The suspect is described as a Black or Spanish male, 5'8", facial hair or goatee, thin build, wearing dark colored pants, dark colored jacket, black knit hat and black Chuck Taylor sneakers.

If you see this suspect do not approach him, contact 911 immediately.
