Dog Saves Owner From Being Robbed

Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at 9:55 p.m. in Wilmington, Delaware near the Chateau Orleans Apartments.

A 31-year old female was walking her dog along an unlit path when she was approached by two unknown males.  The suspects demanded money.

The victim's dog began to growl and bark at the suspects.  The suspects were kept at bay which enabled the victim to turn and run away.

No one was injured.

The suspects did not follow and now police are searching for them.

If anyone has information about this incident, they are encouraged to call the Robbery unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630.
