Utah Mom Makes Bully Daughter Wear Thrift Store Clothes

A mom in Utah came up with a creative way to teach her daughter a lesson when she found out she was bullying a classmate.

Kaylee, 10, was teasing another student about her clothes so much that the student wanted to leave school. When Kaylee's mom, Ally, found out, she made her daughter wear outfits that she picked out at a thrift shop.

"I think now that she knows what it feels like, she doesn't want to be that person anymore because she knows how hurtful it is," the mother said.

Ally says that Kaylee came home from school not angry, just embarrassed by what her friends thought of her clothes.

Kaylee says she has learned her lesson.

Our Facebook page exploded with comments about this story when it first came out.

Viewer Julie Hunt defended mom Ally, saying, "Why is it that when parents hold their kids accountable and actually give consequences for their kids unacceptable behavior people ask if they've gone to far? More kids need to be held accountable for their behavior."

Massey Aimee agreed, saying, "At least the mom did not think that her own child was too perfect like most parents. She actually got involved!!!"
