Lottery Fever: Two Chances To Strike It Rich!

Posted: Updated:
CLEMENTON, N.J. -

Lottery fever is sweeping across our region this weekend as hundreds of millions of dollars is up for grabs.

The Powerball jackpot has reached $550 million dollars for Saturday's drawing.

And its rival right now is the Mega Millions lottery, which is offering a $190 million grand prize. That drawing is tonight.

With both jackpots still expected to increase, lottery fever is fueling ticket sales across our area.

A single Powerball ticket costs $2, while a Mega Millions ticket costs just $1.

FOX 29's Dawn Timmeney reported live Friday morning from Clementon, New Jersey, where people were lining up to buy tickets for the dueling jackpots.
