WASHINGTON -

D.C. police are trying to find the man responsible for a home invasion Wednesday afternoon.

A 69-year-old woman answered the front door of her Massachusetts Avenue home just steps away from the National Cathedral and ended up being dragged through the house and eventually tied up with a vacuum cord.

The victim's sister spoke with FOX 5 and says her sister is recovering from minor injuries.

Police will try to develop a composite sketch based on the victim's description of the attacker.
