The world's most famous feline, from right here in Arizona, brought her frowny face to the west valley Thursday -- bringing smiles to those who are battling cancer.
Grumpy Cat paid a visit to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Western Regional Medical Center in Goodyear.
Patients lined up to meet the cat and take pictures with her.
They say something like this helps them take their minds off of what they're going through for a little while, and also relieve some stress.
"Getting five or 10 minutes where you're able to not be a cancer patient and to not be worried about the chemotherapy or the radiation or the surgery, and to just laugh at something inane and silly and goofy is absolutely essential to your survival," says Michelle Hastings, cancer patient.
"It warms my heart to spread joy and I think Grumpy Cat really likes doing it despite her expression about it. But she's really happy about making people happy, so," says Tabatha Bundesen, Grumpy Cat's owner.
Grumpy Cat has a huge following on the internet. She has nearly a million likes on Facebook, and nearly 90,000 followers on Twitter.
