PHILADELPHIA -

The 26-year-old man who was found shot multiple times Friday has died, police said.

According to Philadelphia police, the victim died Saturday morning. Investigators have not released his name.

The shooting was reported around 3:20 p.m. on the 7300 block of North 20th Street.

When officers arrived, they found the man on the road with gunshot wounds to his head and torso.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Police say they believe a man who was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and was armed with a silver handgun is their suspect.
