Bostonians memorialize city`s response to bombing with tattoos

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Many Boston residents are memorializing their city's united response to the bombing by getting tattoos that say "Boston Strong."

Just five days after the terror attack, Chameleon Tattoo & Body Piercing in Cambridge said they had 20 people come to their store to get Boston-themed tattoos.

In turn, the store raised $5,000 for One Fund Boston, the governor-endorsed charity that has been established to help the families most affected by the attack.

Hope Street Tattoo Parlor in Providence, Rhode Island, said they raise just over $4,000 for charity by giving people Boston tattoos.
