Decatur school district holds meeting on population plans

Posted: Updated:
DECATUR, Ga. -

Decatur City Schools presented three possible plans on Thursday for dealing with a growing student population at the middle and high schools.

Each plan would include a tax increase, which voters would have to approve.

Residents at Thursday's meeting said they feel like the district is rushing things.

District leaders say this is just the first step in a process that will include public input. They also stressed the need to get the issue on this November's ballot
