GRIFFIN, Ga. -

Griffin police have released a sketch in their efforts to solve a murder.

Harry Burkett, 63, was discovered inside his home on Crescent Lane earlier this month. He had been shot in the chest.

The suspect is described as a black male who was wearing sunglasses and a black cap.

Investigators say there's no indication the shooting was gang related. They believe the suspect fled on foot but did not remain in the area.

A $7,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, according to the Griffin Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to call 770-229-6450.
