Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal served as the keynote speaker during the 100 Black Men of Atlanta's community meeting on Wednesday.
The luncheon highlighted their signature scholarship program, Project Success, with proceeds from going towards college expenses for students.
Deal says we all must work together to make Georgia a better place.
Eight members of the first graduating class of the Project Success group were celebrated on Wednesday.
A majority of those students attend Georgia colleges and universities.
