Bank robber strikes again, this time in Rolling Meadows

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man already suspected of robbing one northwest suburban bank struck again Friday, this time at a Harris Bank branch in a different northwest suburb.

The man robbed the Charter One Bank branch at 3901 Kirchoff Rd. in Rolling Meadows at about 11:15 a.m. Friday, according to Rolling Meadows police.

The FBI said the man displayed a silver, semi-automatic handgun. Police said he approached a teller and demanded money.

He is also suspected of robbing the Harris Bank branch in the 100 block of West Devon Avenue in Wood Dale on Feb. 15, according to the FBI.

The robber is described as a white man 55-60, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds with a thin build, light complexion and gray facial hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jacket and blue jeans.
