Boston Station Speaks To Suspects' Alleged Uncle

Posted: Updated:

Our sister station, Fox Boston, spoke to the suspect's uncle around 9:00 am Friday morning.

He told the anchors that they essentially he never thought they would be capable of this. He added that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar had arrived approximately 10 years ago from Chechnya.  The brothers had come to the U.S. to pursue higher education.  One of the brothers even received a scholarship and wanted to become a doctor.

The uncle added that he has not spoken to the brother's father, Anzor Tsarnaev, about the bombings.

This morning, we aired part of Boston's interview on Good Day.
