Local Teacher, Family At Marathon's Finish Line Before Blasts

PHILADELPHIA -

Some local runners who traveled to run in the prestigious Boston Marathon are now safely home.

One of them is Brad Spicer, of South Jersey. He's an 8th grade teacher in Salem.

Spicer had finished the marathon and was on his way back to his hotel when the explosion happened. His family had been with him at the finish line.

Spicer joined "Good Day" live on the phone Tuesday morning. You can hear the complete interview in the video clip above.
