WASHINGTON -

A house fire in Northeast has left two people with very serious injuries.

The blaze broke out Sunday afternoon on 50th street.

Both suffered from smoke inhalation and burns considered life threatening because of their age.

Neighbors say they can't believe how quickly the fire started.
