The Search For A Lost Surfboard

Posted: Updated:

FOX 11's Jeff Michael talked about this story during Studio 11 LA Friday afternoon:

In February a little Pismo Beach boy lost his father to cancer. A couple weeks ago, the family held a memorial for Todd Everett on the beach. Part of the centerpiece of the service was Todd's surfboard.

In the emotion of the event, the surfboard was left behind, and now it's gone.  The surfboard was that young son's most prized memory of his father. They're asking for the lost board to be returned.  The single-fin long board is brown in the middle with yellow and gold trim.

A reward has been offered. For Twitter updates, follow @Ecojlo or the hashtag #lostsurfboard.
