WASHINGTON -

A man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of a northeast Washington deli owner.

Forty-six-year-old Steven Williams of Washington entered the plea Friday in DC Superior Court. As part of plea bargain, prosecutors agreed to ask for no more than 28 years in prison at sentencing June 17.

According to the government's evidence, 64-year-old Hae Soon Lim was found dead on June 14 on the floor of Grace's Deli. She had been shot once in the back of the neck and the deli's cash register was open and empty.

Prosecutors say Williams' DNA was found on the register.
