Preventing reflux

Heartburn, also known as reflux, plagues millions of Americans. For some it is so bad that it never seems to go away.

Now a tiny bracelet-like device is helping sufferers remain pain-free. The Linx System is a band of magnets enclosed in titanium beads. The magnetic attraction between the beads helps keep the weak lower esophageal sphincter closed to prevent reflux.

The Linx bracelet is available in 24 states, including New Jersey and New York.
