Police Looking For Serial Bank Robber

Posted: Updated:

Philadelphia Police and the FBI are looking for the public's help in the search for a bank robber who robbed a bank Monday in Center City and may be linked to three other incidents earlier this year.

Authorities say the suspect entered the TD Bank at the 100 block of South 11th Street just before 9 a.m. Monday morning and verbally demanded money. He fled from the bank with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his 40's, approximately six feet tall with a slim build. He has "salt and pepper" hair and a goatee and was wearing a zip-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police also believe he may be connected to three other bank robberies, all on Frankford Avenue in Mayfair, in January and February.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. If you see the suspect or have any information on Monday's robbery, you are urged to call authorities.
