Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Every ten years, Roger Ebert voted in Sight & Sound magazine's poll to determine the greatest films of all time. Apart from his own annual year's best lists, this was the only other list he voted in – starting in 1972 and ending with his latest edition in April 2012.

Here was his final list:

Aguirre, Wrath of God (Herzog)
Apocalypse Now (Coppola)
Citizen Kane (Welles)
La Dolce Vita (Fellini)
The General (Keaton)
Raging Bull (Scorsese)
2001: A Space Odyssey (Kubrick)
Tokyo Story (Ozu)
The Tree of Life (Malick)
Vertigo (Hitchcock)
