Today's Ask Tony and Tucker question comes from Andrea T.Banksin Baltimore, Maryland.
She asks: "I recently heard that we are about to be invaded with another round of these insects known as brood two.
In 2004, we experienced an invasion and I thought it only occurred every 17 years, which would put the next invasion of these creepy looking things at 2021.
Because of the sheer number of these insects and their inclination to dive bomb you, is there any part of the day that there will be less of them flying around? I am afraid of them even though they are considered harmless.
Will they be everywhere, or just in certain parts of Maryland,DC and Virginia?"
We thought we'd turn to an expert to help us answer this question, joining us on the phone is Doctor Jim Fredericks. He's the director of technical services with the National Pest Management Association.
