WASHINGTON -

If you are a District resident, you may have gotten something in the mail that was a little bit confusing.

The DC Board of Elections sent out a postcard to residents reminding them of a special election later this month.

But one line on the postcard which was supposed to instruct voters when and where they could vote early ended up confusing some residents.

In an effort to clarify the issue, election officials are in the process of sending out another postcard. This clarification isn't cheap. We are told each mass mailing is sent out to about 300,000 residents at a cost of almost $15,000.
