A driver helped police force a suspect off the highway during a high speed chase in Coweta County.Coweta County sheriff's deputies thought they were going to make a route traffic stop but then the driver took off. Deputies would later identify the driver as Ricky Myster of Senoia, whose troubles would escalate from a speeding ticket to felony fleeing and attempting to elude police officerMyster used his Chrysler Sebring in an attempt to outrun the deputies. "During the chase, he was changing lanes of traffic and speeds did get up to 110 mile an hour," said Lt. Col. Mike Kinsey of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office. Video shows the deputy get some help from the driver of a pickup truck, who slowed down in front of Myster's speeding vehicle. The truck then helps to box in Myster behind an 18-wheeler.The driver of pickup truck turned out to be an off-duty Atlanta police officer. The Coweta County Sheriff's Office says it appreciates the officer's help in ending the chase.Myster is being charged with a number of traffic and drug offenses.Police say the found what appears to be crack cocaine in a bag in his pocket, but they also say he threw a bag out on the highway and they weren't able to find that.
