CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Classmates of a dying teenager from Tennessee made one of her dreams come true.

On the day of the prom, doctors told 14-year-old Katelyn Norman she wasn't well enough to go. Katelyn is battling a deadly bone cancer.

Attending the dance topped her bucket list. So instead, the community brought the gala to her.

Hospital staff helped decorate her room and her date showed up with a corsage and sash.

Katelyn said she still has a few more things to cross off the list including riding a motorcycle, traveling to Italy and getting her first kiss.
