Detroit firefighter becomes victim when truck is stolen from firehouse

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (myFOXDetroit.com) -

A Detroit firefighter became the victim of a crime when someone drove off with his truck and some other valuable items.

The crime occurred at one of the busiest fire houses in Detroit, Engine 48, and the bad guys pulled off the heist while firefighters were asleep inside.

The hard-working firefighters of Engine 48 were hustling and bustling all day, but finally caught a break and headed back to base for a rest.

They were able to bunk down at the late hour of 3 a.m., and slept until 7 a.m.

But when they woke up at 7 a.m., Pepper's truck was gone, and so was the station BBQ smoker and a few other items.

Now Pepper is hoping someone will help find his stuff - and the bad guys responsible.
